History

Supported by the Malaria Consortium, CCAM came into existence in August 2006 when a general Assembly was convened by the Executive Committee made up of Cameroonians committed to the fight against malaria. The General Assembly made up of key malaria stakeholders confirmed the convening Executive committee and decided to start the malaria consortium which was registered in conformity with the Cameroon law of associations in November 2006 and effectively went operational in January 2007. Operations are nation wide and the head office is located opposite the Orthodox Helenic Church at the Bastos neighbourhood in Yaoundé.
